The lesser known 1982 "Hergerbsvater" ("hostel father" – actually named "Tri Tra Trullala") by Neue Deutsche Welle ("New German Wave") singer Joachim Witt is one of those visionary and futuristic tracks, that never got the esteem of their time: Not suitable for radio, monotonous, very long and seemingly trivial lyrics. Together with a grotesque music video for its time. Today, it seems like the perfect dance floor track. With my special love for 80s avant-garde, I rediscovered this one with its somehow dark vibe some months ago and felt the need to try an even more danceable KOONish edit. I am very happy with the result. You can now download it via Bandcamp.
